Commercial Shellfish Permit applications and the required documentation must be submitted to the Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources between February 1 and February 29. Each application may be subject to a 15-day review by the Shellfish Constable. The fee for a Yarmouth Commercial Shellfish Permit is $325.00 and must be accompanied with a MA Commercial Permit with a shellfish endorsement and a Shellfish Identification Card issued by the Division of Marine Fisheries.

Town of Yarmouth Recreational Shellfish Permits are valid from April 1 to March 31 of the following year. The opening and closing of Recreational shellfishing areas may be subject to change. It is the responsibility of the shellfish permit holder to read, review and understand all rules and regulations prior to engaging in any lawful shellfishing activities.
