Real Estate / Personal Property Taxes

Tax Billing Dates

The Town of Yarmouth Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes are billed semiannually and are due November 1 and May 1.

Payments must be received in the Collector/Treasurer's Office on or before the due date (post marks are not accepted according to Mass. General Laws).

If late, interest will accrue at 14% per annum from the installment due date. If the 2nd payment (May 1st) is late, a $25.00 demand fee will also be added then if the account remains unpaid 2 weeks after the demand due date it will be sent to the Deputy Collector with more charges added.

Making Payments

The Collector/Treasurer's Office suggests mailing payments at least a week prior to due date to avoid penalties.
