Celebrate National Dance Day at our Dance PartySaturday, September 21, 1:30 p.m. South Yarmouth Library National Dance Day was established in 2010 by American Dance Movement co-founder, Nigel Lythgoe, and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, as an annual celebration that encourages Americans of all ages to incorporate dance into their lives. American Dance Movement aims to educate the public about dance and its many benefits, to make dance accessible and inclusive to everyone.

Forbes Smiley spent years doubling as a map thief — until he was finally arrested slipping maps out of books from a library at Yale University. Copies of The Map Thief are at the South Yarmouth Library for borrowing. Future meeting dates: October 22 and November 19.
