Arlene Kay is the author of the Boston Uncommon mystery series. Learn about the writing process from this Cape Cod author who classifies her writing as "romantic suspense." Arlene will discuss how to construct a novel; how to create sassy, smart heroines with spunk and sex appeal – and more! The South Yarmouth Library Association’s Sunday Author Series is popular, free and open to the general public, with refreshments. Reservations recommended. Do you or someone you know need the services of CORD of Cape Cod? Come hear more about CORD’s Independent Living and Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs that aim to empower. Services include:

  • Information and referral about disability-related issues, resources, and benefits Independent living skills training
  • Peer support: assistance with problem-solving and goal-setting
  • Advocacy: to assist and better equip people to confront barriers, such as discrimination, lack of access, and unresponsive service systems

This amazing live animal show is for all ages! Bethany Jakubson will present a unique variety of animals such as parrots, exotic mammals, large reptiles, and even insects from around the globe. Programs are a hands-on hour-long experience where you will learn about creatures from Africa, South America, Australia, Europe, Asia, and even right here in the United States. Join us for fun and games on the West Yarmouth Library lawn to celebrate "Building a Better World."
