Yarmouth Libraries Genealogy ClubA Tour of the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth Archive Thursday, May 18, 2:00 p.m This month, the Yarmouth Libraries Genealogy Club will take a field trip to the HSOY archive, located in the Cobbler Shop off Route 6A in Yarmouth Port. Amy Heller, head of the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth, will host the tour and give the group a peek at historical documents and other items from the history of our town and its founders. Author Event: Audrey’s Garden by Leslie KoreskySunday, May 21, 2:00 p.m. South Yarmouth Library Audrey’s Garden follows a year in the life of a ten-year-old girl as she learns some hard lessons about honesty, self respect, and what it means to be a friend. Light refreshments will be served. This event is part of the South Yarmouth Library Association’s Sunday Author Series. Save The Date: Sunday, June 25, 2:00 p.m. Arlene Kay, author of Boston Uncommon Mysteries. Arlene Kay spent twenty years as a senior executive with the federal government. This experience in offices around the nation allowed her to observe both human and corporate foibles and rejoice in unintentional humor.
