Newton

Author Talk: Newton Frolich

1492: A Novel
Sunday, February 26, 2:00 pm
South Yarmouth Library

Fifteenth-century Spain was a terrifying place. It was the time of the Inquisition,of torture, betrayal, and unexpected courage. The Muslim world was struggling to keep the West in an economic vise. The Christian world was
fighting back against their control of its trade routes, and the Jewish people were caught in the middle—tortured if they assimilated, expelled or killed if they clung to their heritage. A unique combination of strong-willed characters is brought to life with stunning realism during this turbulent time by award-winning novelist Newton Frohlich.

Reservations recommended. Call the Library at
508-760-4820, or sign up at our web site,
www.yarmouthlibraries.org, in the Library Events
section. The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Part of the South Yarmouth Library Association’s Sunday Author Series.
