Mystery Book Club on Zoom

Thursday, March 11, 6:00 p.m.
This month we will be discussing Death in the Off-Season by Francine Mathews. Spunky but inexperienced, third-generation Nantucket cop Meredith Folger investigates murder in this spare, atmospheric debut. Wealthy farmer Peter Mason is shocked to learn of his estranged brother's return to the island. Rusty, who'd fled to Brazil after a fight with their father and an insider trading scandal, shows up and is later found dead, hit by a car and left on Mason property face-down in shallow water.

Copies of the book are available at both libraries; call to set up a pick-up time. You can check out the ebook from
Overdrive/Libby or the audiobook on the Hoopla app with no wait. Please email ckaufmann@clamsnet.org or call the library at 508-760-4820 to register to receive a Zoom link or with any questions.

If you need Zoom assistance, please call 508-760-4820 x1315 or email ckaufmann@clamsnet.org to set up a
troubleshooting session.
