Staying Updated and Staying Safe in Yarmouth

Yarmouth Town Seal Image

Hello  Yarmouth residents and visitors,

We hope you are all well and getting ready for a safe Memorial Day, unlike any we have ever had. While we all long for a carefree summer, continuing to practice safe social distancing and following state guidance must still be a priority for us all. The good news is that it is working and we are keeping more people in our town safe and healthy and that is priority #1.

To that end, we have created many COVID-19 Communication pages on our site that provide important Health & Safety updates as well as Community Resources and Business Assistance & Support. We are centralizing as much information as we can to help you through this crisis as families, business owners, workers and citizens. There is important business loan and support information in addition to food & housing assistance resources. We hope that you will frequent these pages as we continue to use them to stay safe and within the regulations we need to continue to operate as a community in our new normal.

Another top priority is supporting businesses and the re-opening efforts for our entire community so we have created a specific Yarmouth COVID-19 Re-Opening Guidelines resource page providing re-opening guidance from the Town, State and Regional authorities to assist in a successful phased re-opening approach for our business community. You can sign up for notifications of news, updated guidelines and resources on our town website by following the link below.

With the above efforts and more to continue keeping our community safe, we have created the opportunity for you to sign up for Town News & Updates on our website and if you are receiving this message, you are already signed up for our Town News Flash from your previous opt-in with the Town on past lists. You are able to control the News Flash information you receive by visiting our website and clicking on the E-Alerts icon on our website and selecting the lists you would like to receive information from. You may also opt-out of notifications through this email or at any time via our website. You will ONLY receive information directly from the Town and your information is not shared or distributed. It is only used for Town business and important health or emergency alerts. Please visit our Notify Me page to sign up and learn more.

We are very proud of the work our community and staff have done together to keep Yarmouth safe and healthy while trying to continue operations and assist in providing services across our town. Using the above methods, we will continue to keep you aware of important updates and information as it continues to evolve and we adjust to our new normal and get back to being Cape Codders in the healthiest way possible.

Here’s to a safe and successful summer together as a community.
